(Let's Eat!)

Text: In the weeks before we went home, we had a few send-off parties. The Tices invited us over for Mexican food with two of their co-workers. We made Indian parathas to use as tortillas. On our last day of teaching, we went out for sam gyup sal with the hagwon faculty. The branch had a party for us on our last Sunday.

Paper: German ingres from Daniel Smith.

Pens: Zig Writer blue and yellow, Pentel milky white, Micron black (01)

I used my Inkworx air gun to spray yellow on the background.

Serving non-Korean food to Koreans was always an iffy proposition. We sometimes got excited about certain foods and wanted to share them, but frequently our enthusiasm was not returned.

Chonan branch was made a ward not long after we left. Bishop Koo's wife, Jo Gyoung Soon, was in my greenie house in Kwang Ju when I was a missionary. I got a picture of her and her family, which has since been increased by the addition of a son.
