Kap Sa temple/

Kong Ju city

Text: Between our last day of teaching and the day we went home, we had a week to ourselves. We spent the time packing and doing a lot of last-minute running around. On Wednesday, July 30, again armed with Mr. Kim's video camera, we explored Kong Ju city and Kap Sa temple. We hiked up Kye Ryong San mountain to a waterfall behind the temple. There were quite a few people picnicking along the stream.

(Page 2) After Kap Sa we went into Kong Ju and saw a few things in town. We visited the site of King Mu Ryong's tomb from the Paekche period, and walked around Kong Ju mountain fortress. It was nice and shady on the mountain, but once we got into town it was so hot we could hardly stand it.
