Son Am Sa temple

Text: At the end of our long hike, on the other side of the mountain, we found Son Am Sa temple. The area behind the temple was especially beautiful. We passed through a grove of tall cedar trees and through sunny meadows, and came across a little walled cemetery with weathered stone stupas. We got one of the branch members to take a picture for us.

(Page 2) The rest of the group left without us as we stayed behind to explore for a while. In front of the temple we crossed this old stone bridge. We barely missed one bus back to Sunchon and had to wait for another. It was getting dark by the time we left. We hiked about seven kilometers that day.
