Going Home

Text: We left Korea on Saturday, August 2. We spent Friday cleaning sorting, packing, and mailing boxes. Sister Yoon Jeong Hee invited us over for supper at her house. In the evening we wrote pages of detailed and useful information for our replacements at the hagwon. Saturday morning our recruiter, Mary Kim, picked us up and drove us to the airport. As we were checking in we realized that we had left Doug's kumdo sword case in Mary's car. We called her on her car phone and she brought it back. We flew out of Kimpo airport in the evening, and arrived in Los Angeles at noon of the same day. From there we flew to Sacramento, where Doug's parents picked us up. Lucky the rice cooker was Helena's carry-on luggage.
